Why did you choose to attend Tulane SPHTM?

I chose to attend Tulane's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine because it is the oldest school for public health in the United States, providing a vast and influential alumni base. The school is renowned for its exceptional faculty and offers a diverse and inclusive environment that fosters individual growth.

Why are you interested in volunteering as an SPHTM Student Ambassador?

As an international student, I understand that the transition process of moving to a new country can be overwhelming and stressful. I would love to use my experience to help make it easier. I also love connecting and listening to people and their stories.

What's your dream job?

My dream job is to work in the field of maternal, perinatal, and reproductive health research in the future.

What advice would you give someone thinking about getting a degree in public health?

My advice to someone considering a degree in public health would be to thoroughly explore various programs available and choose one that aligns closely with the type of work you envision yourself doing in the future. Public health is a broad field with diverse opportunities, so selecting a program that resonates with your career aspirations and interests is essential.

Any hobbies, interests, etc. outside of public health?

I enjoy baking, going for walks, playing various sports.

What is the best thing about being a student at SPHTM thus far?

The best aspect of being a student at SPHTM thus far has been the opportunity to interact with friends and professors from diverse global backgrounds. This multicultural environment has improved my learning experience significantly, fostering personal growth and broadening my understanding of different cultures.
