Why did you choose to attend Tulane?

I chose Tulane SPHTM because I felt welcomed into a community where my voice and experiences truly matter. The faculty and peers provide genuine support, and Tulane's commitment to equity aligns with my values. What made it even more special was the newly designed International Health and Sustainable Development DrPH program an opportunity I could not find anywhere else.

Why are you interested in volunteering as a student ambassador?

I am interested in volunteering as a Student Ambassador because I want to share my experiences with prospective students and represent the new International Health and Sustainable Development DrPH program. This role allows me to encourage and guide students especially those from underrepresented backgrounds and those passionate about global health while showcasing the unique opportunities Tulane provides. I am also excited to highlight Tulane's strong commitment to equity, leadership, and community, and to help prospective students feel the same sense of belonging and purpose that I did when I chose WSPH.

What's your dream job?

My dream job is to be a global health leader and consultant working across West Africa, where I can strengthen public health systems, advance health equity, and build sustainable programs in partnership with local institutions. I envision leading an organization or consulting firm that not only manages large-scale health initiatives but also develops leadership frameworks, training, and resources that empower local practitioners to create lasting change in their communities.

What advice would you give someone thinking about getting a degree in public health?

Short and sweet - You have to love it! Remember that public health is about service whether locally or globally, so stay grounded in the communities you want to impact and let that drive your journey.

Any hobbies, interests, etc. outside of public health?

Travel, Photography, Listening to music, Volunteering and community service
