Office of Biosafety

Proposed studies are reviewed by the Office of Biosafety prior to submission to IBC for review and approval. Biosafety will assist the PI’s) with:

Protocol Submission Form (IBC)
Relevant appendices
Agent and process specific SOPs

Institutional Biosafety Committee

The Institutional Biosafety Committee is the principal advisory group to the Vice President for Research on the use of rDNA and infectious agents in research. The IBC office reviews and approves the “Protocol Submission Form,” relevant appendices agent and process specific SOPs from the PI(s).

Office of Research Proposal Development

The Office of Research Proposal Development assists faculty in the preparation and submission of complex grant proposals, in the areas of biological sciences, and medicine, public health.

Funding and Grants Research Guide

The Howard-Tilton Library’s guide contains resources, strategies, and databases pertaining to locating and applying for grant, funding, and scholarship opportunities at Tulane and beyond.

Sponsored Projects Administration

Sponsored Projects Administration (SPA) provides both pre and post award services to the Tulane University research community.
