Biography
Public health doctoral student and Global Scholar at Tulane University Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine.
My key areas of interest and scholarship include leadership and advocacy, public health genomics/bioinformatics, health policy, and biosecurity all through the lens of equity, the One Health Initiative, and the reduction of health disparities.
My background consists of layered expertise in the fields of veterinary medicine, human medicine, clinical and academic research, data science, genetic epidemiology, global and community health sciences, health disparities research, health policy analysis, cloud computing, AI/machine learning, data modernization, and infodemiology.
My aim is to apply knowledge in an effort to influence policy, drive collaboration and innovation, advance public health bioinformatics/genomics initiatives, support a reduction in health disparities, and contribute to advancing conversation around ethical, legal, and social implications of public health genomics.
