There is a Tulane master's degree for future registered dietitian nutritionists, which involves obtaining the MSPH in Nutrition degree.
Begin the Tulane MSPH in Nutrition first and apply for a pre-select slot in the Tulane Dietetic Internship (DI) program. Students pursuing this option will begin taking MSPH courses over the summer, complete the MSPH requirements by the end of the following summer, enter the DI program, and complete both the MSPH and DI within 25 months.
Steps to apply:
- Apply to the Tulane University MSPH program in Nutrition through SOPHAS, indicating your interest in the Dietetic Internship in the personal statement for this application.
- Apply directly to the Tulane University Dietetic Internship in the fall semester. Applications are due on or before January 1 of the year that you will begin the internship. See the Tulane Dietetic Internship website for details on requirements.
All master program applicants who have applications submitted and completed by the priority deadline are automatically considered for scholarships.
