Biography
Christopher Morelli is a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) student in the Leadership, Advocacy, and Equity concentration at the Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University. He is a public health professional with cross-sector experience spanning life sciences consulting, health and safety research, and scientific program management within the health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) field. Christopher currently serves as Manager, Stakeholder Initiatives at the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), where he supports various initiatives while conducting horizon scanning of emerging scientific and policy developments relevant to HEOR. In this role, he translates strategic needs for corporate partners into tailored ISPOR solutions and fosters relationships that advance the organization's mission and 2030 Strategic Plan. His doctoral interests lie at the intersection of health policy, health equity, and public health advocacy. Christopher is particularly focused on how policy frameworks and organizational leadership can be leveraged to reduce health disparities and advance equitable access to health interventions, particularly access to vaccines that mitigate the burden posed by vaccine-preventable diseases. Drawing on his professional background in competitive intelligence, regulatory science, and content strategy, he seeks to bridge practice-based expertise with rigorous public health scholarship. Prior to joining ISPOR, Christopher worked as a Life Sciences Consulting Analyst at a boutique life sciences consulting firm, where he supported competitive intelligence projects across therapeutic areas including rare disease, gene therapy, and vaccine science. He also served as a Content and Data Researcher at International SOS, developing medical and security content for global corporate audiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. He is proficient in data analysis and project management tools including SPSS, SAS, PowerBI, and Asana.
