Bernard J. Panetta, II, JD

Bernard Panetta earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Tulane as well as a law degree from Georgetown University. Mr. Panetta is a former high-profile white collar criminal defense attorney in El Paso, TX. He served as an Assistant United States Attorney in Washington, D.C., from 1973 to 1979 and then as an attorney in the Department of Justice, followed by years doing pro bono work. The Panettas’ daughter, Victoria E. Panetta, graduated from Newcomb-Tulane College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mr.

Marcela Villareal de Panetta

Originally from Juarez, Mexico, Marcela Villareal de Panetta earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Newcomb College. Ms. Panetta has served on the boards of various companies and cultural institutions in the United States and Mexico. She has the distinction of being one of the first women to serve on a major Mexican board, ARCA - CONTAL, where she promoted significant changes that made recycling and sustainability priorities for the company. 

David Pons

David Pons owns and operates 115 Gerard St. LLC Group concentrating in renovating real estate for small business use. Prior to 115 Group, he worked at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as the Managed Care, Account Manager responsible for formulary contracts negotiated for Mississippi and Louisiana. Preceding Pfizer, he resided in New York and was an advertising executive with Young & Rubicam. David has served on the boards of the Contemporary Arts Center, Le Petit Theatre and Keep Mandeville Beautiful. He is a supporter of various charities including Smile Train and Worthy Paws.

Christopher F. Richardson, JD

Christopher Richardson is a Partner at White & Case, LLP, based in Houston, Texas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University, followed by his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law. Mr. Richardson is a global energy transactions lawyer who regularly provides counsel on oil and gas, petrochemical, and LNG transactions and projects to a variety of companies and organizations throughout the United States and in foreign jurisdictions.

Adonis Rose

Adonis Rose is a Grammy-award winning artist, composer, educator, and producer from the city of New Orleans, LA. He has played and recorded with the biggest names in Jazz, including Terence Blanchard, Betty Carter, and Wynton Marsalis, and has performed on the most renowned stages in the world such as Carnegie Hall, Apollo Theater, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Mr. Rose has over fifty recordings to his credit and in 2010 won a Grammy Award with the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra for Best Large Ensemble.

Lisa Tucci

Lisa Tucci graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and worked 29 years as a pediatric nurse at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia. Ms. Tucci travels widely on missionary trips while providing surgical medical work, including to Haiti and the DRC. Her latest trip was with Project Smile to Guatemala in March 2020 doing bone surgery for the hands. Lisa and her husband Peter have two daughters who are both recent graduates of Tulane University, and their daughter Marissa is a SPHTM alumna and current graduate student. Ms.

Peter Tucci, JD

Peter Tucci is a partner in the law firm Fox Rothschild LLP and co-chair of the firm’s 200-attorney Corporate Department. Based in Philadelphia, his practice spans a wide variety of both domestic and international corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and joint ventures. Mr. Tucci received his JD and his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University. Celia S. Weatherhead, M.Ed

Celia S. Weatherhead earned her undergraduate degree in theatre from Newcomb College in 1965, followed by a Master of Education degree from Florida Atlantic University. Ms. Weatherhead devotes herself to the community as President of the Weatherhead Foundation and the Albert J. Weatherhead, III Foundation. Ms. Weatherhead and her late husband, Al, have given generously to Tulane, endowing the Celia Scott Weatherhead Distinguished Chair in Philosophy, the Margaret W. and Eamon M.

Thomas Westfeldt, II

Thomas Westfeldt is New Orleans native. In 1976, Thomas became the fifth generation Westfeldt to work at Westfeldt Brothers, Inc., a green coffee import company. Since 1985, he has served as President of Westfeldt Brothers, Inc., along with several board member positions: most notably New Orleans Cold Storage, The Society for the Relief of Destitute Orphan Boys, Green Coffee Association of New Orleans, National Coffee Association, New Orleans Board of Trade, and Audubon Nature Institute. Mr. Westfeldt has been a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council since 2008.
