Why did you choose to pursue your MPH at Tulane SPHTM?
I completed my undergrad at Tulane in Public Health and Sociology, and I was able to start my grad degree during my senior year. I knew I wasn't ready to leave New Orleans after only four years, so Tulane SPHTM was the perfect opportunity to continue my education and stay in the city I call home.
What are your MPH/MCH interests and your career goals?
I am interested in maternal morbidity and mortality, structural/policy determinants of maternal health, and sociology of medicine/health and reproduction. I want to get my Ph.D. in sociology in a few years and work as an applied researcher and a sociology professor.
What are your interests outside of school?
Biking, ultimate frisbee, kayaking, oil pastels
