Program Information
At Tulane University's Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, our focus on maternal and child health prepares the next generation of researchers, practitioners, and leaders to address critical health challenges facing these population. Situated in the Gulf South, a region marked by vast MCH and social inequities yet abundant in strength and resilience, Tulane is uniquely positioned for training and research that extends well beyond our region and across the globe. By expanding and strengthening the MCH workforce and conducting innovative research, we aim to improve the health of women, infants, children, youth, and families. Our work is grounded in health equity and community engagement and spans maternal and child health, violence, rural and international health, mental health, climate and disasters, and more.
