Why did you choose to pursue your MPH at Tulane SPHTM?
I decided to attend Tulane because of the community-like feel. Having the opportunity to talk with faculty and staff before applying showed me that they were invested in their students, not just with their education but also their overall well-being and making sure students get the most out of Tulane during their time here.
What are your MPH/MCH interests and your career goals?
Black maternal and infant mortality rates in the US; Reproductive Health; Health equity. One day I hope to become an OBGYN, working collaboratively alongside midwives and doulas to give birthing parents the support they need in order for them to have a positive and healthy pregnancy experience.
What are your interests outside of school?
Reading, cooking, doing various activities related to self-care, listening to podcasts, and working out
