MS in Data Modeling & Analytics for Health
A brand-new accelerated master's built for analytically curious students - no formal math prerequisites required. You'll work with R, SAS, and Stata to analyze large health datasets, build predictive models, and complete a thesis on a real-world problem. Tulane undergrads from any major can start taking graduate courses in their senior year, getting a head start on the degree before they graduate.
BS Degrees
Tulane undergraduates can earn a Bachelor of Science through the Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Our BS programs combine rigorous science and public health training, with pathways into graduate school, medicine, healthcare management, and research. Choose from three tracks: Public Health, Health Policy & Management, and Nutrition Science.
A broad foundation in epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, and health policy. Strong preparation for grad school, medicine, or public service.
Integrates the biological foundations of human nutrition with public health - covering metabolism, chronic disease prevention, food equity, and culturally responsive health strategies. Declaring from fall 2026.
Blends health policy, data analytics, and management to prepare you for careers in healthcare organizations, policy environments, and related sectors. Declaring from fall 2027 - advising available now.
Students interested in declaring a major in Public Health, Nutrition Science, or Health Policy & Management should first complete the Intake Form and then schedule an advising appointment. Major declaration appointments are required and must be conducted in person.
Minors
Four public health minors are open to all Tulane undergraduates, regardless of major or school. Each minor adds a public health lens to your existing degree - covering topics from nutrition and healthcare administration to climate change and population health. Minors can also serve as a stepping stone toward an accelerated master's program.

Students interested in declaring a minor should complete the Intake Form. An advising appointment is not required to declare a minor; however, students who would like to discuss their interests or learn more about our programs are welcome to schedule an appointment with an advisor.
Accelerated Master's
WSPH's accelerated master's programs allow Tulane undergraduates to begin graduate coursework before they graduate, reducing the total time to a master's degree. Programs include the MPH, MSPH, MPH&TM, MHA, and the newly launched MS in Data Modeling and Analytics for Health. A 3.0 GPA is required; applications are accepted through the Fastlane process. Students receive a 35% tuition discount on remaining graduate school tuition.
The classic public health master's - generalist or with a tropical medicine focus. Start taking graduate courses senior year and get a head start on your degree.
Master of Health Administration for students drawn to hospital systems, healthcare management, and organizational leadership.
Work with health data at scale. Machine learning, statistical modeling, and thesis research. Open to all majors.
