Dr. Hammack is a Research Assistant Professor at Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (SPHTM), in the Department of Social, Behavioral, and Population Sciences. She currently serves as Director of the Gun Violence Policy Lab, a project of the Center for Youth Equity within Tulane's Violence Prevention Institute (VPI). Dr.

Megan Weemer, DHSc, MS

Dr. Weemer has over 20 years of experience as a health educator with an extensive history of teaching graduate public health courses in various modalities. She has a strong commitment to creating an interactive and collaborative learner-centered environment that fosters student success. Dr. Weemer has revised, developed, and implemented numerous online public health courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level, along with significantly contributing to curriculum revisions, program assessment and accreditation at various institutions.

Jeffery J. Waddy, DrPH, MSED, MCHES

Jeffery J. Waddie graduated from Albany State College in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry. While pursuing his undergraduate studies, Jeff was a participant in the Multidisciplinary International Research Training (MIRT) grant. This opportunity presented Jeff with the ability to perform scholarly research at the Max Delbruck Center for Molecular Medicine in Berlin, Germany. His project involved genetic mapping using Southern Blotting methods. Mr. Waddy also took advantage of leadership activities becoming the Student Government President and being active in Greek life.

Lolita Moss, PhD

Lolita Moss is an interdisciplinary social scientist with youth development practice experience, as well as social work and developmental psychology training. Her research interests center on Black adolescent development, interpersonal violence, and romantic relationships. She has explored the role of mainstream media as a socialization mechanism for violence-related attitudes and behaviors. Her current research agenda bridges the impact of policy and social networks on social attitudes and psychosocial outcomes.

Jeni Stolow, PhD, MPH

Dr. Jeni Stolow is a social and behavioral scientist who works at the intersection of medical anthropology, public health, and infectious disease outbreak response. Dr. Stolow has just returned from a deployment to Central/Eastern Europe responding to the Ukraine Emergency as a World Health Organization (WHO) Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) officer. Dr. Stolow is also currently responding to the COVID-19 pandemic as the Global Outbreak Alert & Response Network (GOARN) Research Focal Point for RCCE. Dr.

Sara Woltz

Sara Woltz’s research focuses on disparities, cardiovascular health, Black health, aging, and behavioral economics. Her current work explores the influence of allostatic load on cardiovascular disease risk. Woltz is a Social Behavioral and Population Science Ph.D. student, recipient of the NHLBI T-32 Drive Fellowship, and is advised by Dr. Caryn Bell. Prior to starting her Ph.D. at the Tulane School of Public Health, she worked for the University of Utah Neurology Department on clinical research and was the data manager of the State of Utah Parkinson’s’ disease registry.
