Christopher F. Richardson, JD
Biography
Chris Richardson (Tulane College ‘99) is native of Shreveport, LA. He is currently based in Houston, TX, where he is a partner at the global law firm Paul Hastings LLP, focusing on energy & infrastructure projects and transactions. After graduating from Tulane with a BA in History, magna cum laude, in 1999, Chris attended the University of Virginia School of Law. He has lived in Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi, working at both law firms and in senior executive roles in the energy industry. He has served on the Dean’s Advisory Board for over 8 years, including serving as Chair for several terms until January 2024. He also serves on the President’s Council and the Advisory Board for the Tulane Energy Law & Policy Center. Chris and his wife Andi (Newcomb ‘99) are proud longtime supporters of the Green Wave, Tulane University, and the Celia Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, where they have endowed a Young Career Professorship in Tropical Medicine and Infectious Disease.
