The event will allow students of the Downtown Campus to meet and greet healthcare providers and ask any questions they may have about services provided at the Health Center. We will also have free food (sandwiches and cookies), and giveaways (branded magnets and cooling towels).

We will be volunteering with Green Light New Orleans to help with installing energy efficient light bulbs, planting backyard gardens, and constructing and painting rain barrels.

PubMed, the largest database of biomedical research, is undergoing a large redesign which will be live in November. In this brief hands-on session, we will explore the changes to PubMed such as the search interface, results algorithm, navigation, and more. This session would be useful for the new or experienced PubMed user.
