NOLA Collegiate Public Health Student Mixer
Saturday April 11th 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The NOLA Collegiate Public Health Student Mixer, held in collaboration with Xavier University, is a business casual event designed to strengthen relationships among public health students across New Orleans while reinforcing the 2026 NOLA Collegiate Public Health Conference theme, “The Art of Prevention.” The program will include informal networking, guided reflections on the previous day’s conference, a short workshop on strategic networking skills with structured partner rotations, and a faculty spotlight from a Tulane epidemiology professor discussing career pathways and the role of epidemiology in prevention. The mixer will conclude with open networking, resume exchanges, and opportunities for students to engage with faculty and peers from multiple institutions, fostering collaboration and professional development within the local public health community.
