Street Medicine: Lessons in the Conduct of Research, Collaboration, and Clinical Care for People Experiencing Homelessness

Join us for a talk with Dr. Alexis Coulourides Kogan, the Director of Research at USC Street Medicine, as she shares what they've learned about working with people experiencing homelessness when conducting research, during person-centered clinical care, and in other collaborative contexts.
Alexis Coulourides Kogan, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine and Geriatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California as well as the Director of Research at USC Street Medicine. She also holds a joint appointment at the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology and is a Fellow of the USC Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics. Additionally, she is an affiliate member of the USC Gehr Family Center for Health Systems Science and Innovation and the USC Homelessness Policy Research Institute. Dr. Coulourides Kogan is a mixed-methods health systems researcher focused on translation and measurement of person-centered models of care and education for older adults and people living with serious illness.
