Robert Reimers

Dr. Robert Reimers is professor emeritus in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences. He worked as an environmental engineer and applied chemist specializing in natural resource management including residuals management and toxic/hazardous waste management. 

His research has assessed, developed or enhanced various techniques for over 55 industries, consulting firms and government agencies. This research has been a result of over 80 grants and contracts yielding over 140 papers, 170 presentations and 120 technical reports.

Andrew Englande, PhD, MS

Dr. AJ Englande is professor emeritus in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences. His focus is on environmental engineer specializing in natural resource management including water quality and toxics assessment/control. Areas of research: industrial waste management, wastewater and water treatment; bioremediation; fate of trace contaminants and pathogens in the environment. Specific research focus included natural, low cost treatment/remediation methods and technology treatability feasibility studies of water, wastewater and hazardous waste alternatives.

Ann Anderson

Dr. Ann Anderson is professor emerita in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences. She served as a liaison with the health departments in four states to facilitate public health practice initiatives. In 1995, she developed the South Central Public Health Leadership Institute with the departments of health in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. She also developed an Advanced Institute in Crisis Leadership with the same states.

Michael Cahalane

Michael Cahalane is an attorney and partner in Cetrulo LLP’s Boston office. He concentrates his practice in products liability, pharmaceutical litigation, toxic torts, asbestos litigation, premises litigation, mass torts, commercial disputes, and litigation management. Mike regularly litigates cases filed in state and federal courts throughout New England.

Katie Vigil

I am California Certified Public Health Microbiologist (PHM) with  BS and MS degrees in Biology from Humboldt State University (HSU). At HSU, I did molecular research of Rickettsia bacteria Inticks. I also worked at the Humboldt County, Solano County, and Richmond State Microbial Disease (MDL) Public Health Laboratories as a Laboratory Technician and PHM trainee. After my PHM training, I worked at the Santa Clara Valley Water District as a Microbiologist, where I conducted various drinking water, raw water and recycled water compliance testing.
