Biography

Dr. Felicia Rabito is an epidemiologist. Her primary research interest is children’s health and the environment, specifically hazards associated with housing conditions. She has particular interest in the role that residential-based exposures have on health disparities with expertise in allergen, chemical, and metals exposure and their impact on the health of asthmatic children. Rabito has conducted numerous randomized controlled trials and cohort studies in inner-city populations and is currently exploring the complex interrelationship between increased exposure to environmental allergens, psychosocial stress, and adverse health outcomes in low-income populations. In addition, she is engaged in health services research and training with several universities in Ethiopia.
