Maternal and Child Health
Situated in the Gulf South, with vast MCH and social inequities yet abundant strength and resilience, Tulane is the premier location for training and research. However, our training programs and research extend well beyond the Gulf South and across the globe. Whether domestically or internationally, the purpose of our MCH programs is to expand and strengthen the MCH workforce and to conduct innovative research that is translated into action, all with the aim of improving the health status of women, infants, children, youth, and families. We do so with cross-cutting training and research in health equity, community engagement and translation, and implementation science, and with substantial expertise in violence, rural and international health, mental health, climate/disasters, and more.
