Provides students with a foundation in health policy processes, concepts, and issues, as well as strong analytical skills to help develop and evaluate health policies. 

Prepares students to serve as epidemiologists in mid-level positions in public health research or practice settings.

Provides training in assessment of environmental health hazards, integrating emerging knowledge and strategies to understand and reduce public health risk.  

Prepares students to partner with communities to reduce health disparities and improve quality of life through training in health behavior, program evaluation, and community engagement. 

Prepares students to design studies, manage and analyze public health data, and clearly communicate statistical findings using real-world datasets and industry-standard software.
