Matas Library
The Matas Library offers a 24/7 quiet study space that provides computing, black & white and color printing, scanning, and VTS access to add funds to University IDs. This space offers several private group study rooms, tables and carrels with convenient electrical outlet access, PCs, laser printing, and a flat bed scanner. Ten of these computers host statistical software provided by the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine for after-hours use. When the library is closed, the after-hours area is entered by swiping your Tulane University ID card at the controlled access door in the 2nd floor hallway on the LaSalle side. ID cards must be activated by the security checkpoint in the lobby.
Below is a list of available software on all computers located in rooms 1216, 1218, and 1220.
If you have a software question or need other software for your class, please e-mail sphhelp@tulane.edu with the license information and the cost. If you use legacy software then you may need to arrange for a newer version.
