Public Health Early Access

Public Health Early Access provides undergraduate students the opportunity for exploration and mentorship in preparation for public health graduate study and careers. The School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine partners with undergraduate institutions to offer the following to their students interested in graduate public health:

  • Exploration through a series of virtual and in-person seminars, panels, webinars, and other events where students can engage with researchers and practitioners, exploring the different disciplines and career paths in public health
  • Mentorship via a facilitated match with a current SPHTM student

Public Health Early Access students work with a dedicated admissions counselor who can assist with graduate program selection, the admissions process, financial aid, and more.

  • Public Health Early Access students with a 3.3 undergraduate GPA are guaranteed admission to the SPHTM.
  • Public Health Early Access students receive a scholarship equal to $25,000 distributed over four semesters.
Eligible students can pursue one of the following master's degrees in a variety of concentrations, in both residential and online modalities.
  • MPH - Master of Public Health
  • MSPH - Master of Science in Public Health
  • MPH&TM - Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine
  • MHA - Master of Health Administration

These SPHTM degrees require 42-54 graduate credits, in addition to an applied practical experience and an integrated learning experience.
