Biography

Before retiring in June 2021, Stacy Kramer was the Vice President of Global Health & Safety for Freeport-McMoRan, based in Phoenix, Arizona. She began her career with Phelps Dodge (which later became Freeport-McMoRan) in 1996 and later became the Health and Safety Manager for the Safford, Arizona mine during design, construction, commissioning and then operation. In 2013 Ms. Kramer became the Director of Risk Management at the corporate office, responsible for Global Fatality Prevention and FMA Health and Safety. She has a B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health from Montana School of Mineral Science and Technology and an MPH in Health and Safety Management from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Ms. Kramer has been a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council since 2017.
