The Public Health Doctoral Students (PHDS) is an organization that fosters collaboration within the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine (SPHTM) to achieve excellence in doctoral education and professional development. This group is open to all students enrolled at SPHTM.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to enhance the educational setting and experience for doctoral students in all departments across the SPHTM, and to foster community between doctoral students. We also want to inspire, challenge and develop the training, career aspirations, and professional advancement for PHDS members. We believe the doctoral student experience can be enhanced through fellowship, social and educational events.
