Dr. Liu's areas of expertise and research interest include next generation sequencing data analyses, e.g., bulk and single cell RNA-seq data analyses (Hepatol Commun. 2022 Aug;6(8):2170-2181.; Biochem Biophys Rep. 2022 Mar;29:101200.), meta-genomics (Brief Bioinform. 2022 May 13;23(3)) and other high-dimensional clinical data analyses (Am J Respir Crit Care Med. 2022 Nov 1;206(9):1174-1177.; Virchows Arch. 2022 Jul;481(1):49-61.).

John Lefante is a Professor Emeritus at Tulane University and has extensive experience in data analyses and maintenance on research studies in occupational health, health care access and evaluation, and clinical and translational sciences. He has led the Tulane Biostatistics & Epidemiology Core facilitator for the LA CaTS Center, an NIH funded IDeA-CTR.

Mark J. VanLandingham, PhD, is Professor Emeritus at Tulane University.  

His recent and ongoing research focuses on rural-to-urban migration within Southeast Asia; disaster recovery; and acculturation, health and well-being among Vietnamese immigrants in the United States. His recent book, Weathering Katrina, focuses on these latter two topics.
