The Master of Science in Public Health is a more science and analytics-based degree. As with the MPH, MSPH students gain a thorough grounding in the foundations of public health before specializing in the program area. At Tulane, the MSPH is offered in only two departments – the Department of Environmental Health Sciences (two programs) and in the Department of Biostatistics and Data Science, and require 42-47 credits, depending on the program, and is usually completed in two years. Graduates are well-trained scientists ready for careers in both professional and academic settings.
