Biography

Galen Conti is a DrPH student at the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, in the International Health and Sustainable Development Department. He received his Master of Public Health in epidemiology from the University of Georgia and has held various epidemiology roles over the past ten years. 
 

Galen is currently a lead epidemiologist at the American Red Cross and conducts research on transfusion-transmissible infectious diseases. He is also a member of the International Society of Blood Transfusion’s Global Blood Safety Working Party which works to improve blood safety on a global level.
