Learn how to submit an abstract to a the American Public Health Association conference and other professional conferences.  You will learn what an abstract is and why they are important for research dissemination, what are the different types of abstracts and how to write clear and concise objectives.  Additionally, you will learn the submission process for abstracts through the APHA website.

Graduate Student Teaching Assistants (TAs) must complete a mandatory one-hour training session to work as a TA. This includes SPHTM students who serve as TA’s for undergraduate courses as well.  The objective of the workshop is to provide a toolkit for our TAs where ethics, academic standards, best practices, honor code, payroll, etc.
