Disrupting Adultism: Building Authentic Youth Coalitions

Designed with research and policy advocacy in mind, "Disrupting Adultism: Building Authentic Youth Coalitions" training will delve into the concept of adultism, exploring its implications and how it can inadvertently create barriers in youth engagement. More importantly, we will discuss strategies to disrupt these patterns in order to foster an environment that truly values and incorporates youth perspectives. We will explore strategies to foster genuine partnerships with young people, enabling them to become active participants in decision-making processes. By the end of this training, participants will have an introduction to the knowledge and tools needed to build authentic youth coalitions, ensuring that our future leaders are not just seen, but heard, respected, and actively involved in shaping the world around them.
