Biography
Mia Putnam is a PhD student working with Dr. Lu Qi in the epidemiology department. Mia obtained her bachelor's and master's of public health from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She is passionate about researching nutritional epidemiology, specifically gene-environment interactions relating to cardiometabolic health outcomes. In her free time, Mia enjoys exploring New Orleans, crafting, and going to live music shows.
