Biography

Eileen Grady Vermilye, LICSW, LCSW-C, LCSW is a clinical social worker, presently a therapist at a group practice in Washington, DC. Her Social Work career has spanned more than 35 years. Prior to retirement from the federal government in 2024, Eileen was the Assistant Director of the Employee Assistance Program for the Executive Office for United States Attorneys/Department of Justice. She developed, provided and managed employee mental health and wellness services including counseling, crisis response, training and education, outreach and management consultation for more than 10,000 employees at US Attorneys’ Offices across the country. Previously, Eileen worked for the United States Army, Navy, and Marine Corps providing support and guidance for military families and communities impacted by domestic abuse, rape, and sexual assault. She has additional experience in the areas of adoption and substance abuse.

Eileen has a an MSW from the National Catholic School of Social Service at Catholic University. She is the proud parent of a Class of 2026 undergraduate student. Eileen became a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council in 2025.
