Join us for National Public Health Week

The Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine has a full set of events planned for this year’s National Public Health Week, an annual celebration of all the ways public health has transformed life expectancy and quality of life in the U.S. and beyond. Highlights include:

  • Nationally recognized leader in maternal and child health, Dr. Deanna Wathington
  • A presentation on “What is Public Health?” concluding with a student panel
  • A visit from Dr. Georges Benjamin, executive director of the American Public Health Association

Other events and activities include a film screening, lectures and seminars, a misinformation hackathon, and public health trivia!
