Our thoughts are with Texas
Hurricane Harvey has devastated the Gulf Coast of Texas with large volumes of rain that will continue throughout this week. Everyone here at the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine shares in concern for the residents of Southeast Texas who are dealing with flooding and displacement.
We especially extend our support to our students who hail from the affected areas and to our colleagues and friends at schools and universities in Southeastern Texas. Please share with us if there is anyway we can be of service to you in the aftermath of this terrible event.
Our community is always responsive to disaster needs. If you would like to donate to help victims of Hurricane Harvey, we encourage you to visit the American Red Cross. We also urge you to keep an eye on weather reports to monitor Harvey’s track and Tulane’s Emergency Alerts as we continue into the week.
