2016 Tulane SPHTM Diploma Ceremony
Congratulations to the class of 2016!
This year the ceremony moved to Mahalia Jackson Theater, a bigger venue to accommodate all the family and friends who came out to celebrate their graduating loved ones. Megan Hall, MPH in global community health and behavioral sciences, was the student speaker, and local, indie duet Alexis & The Samurai provided musical entertainment. Even though the ceremony moved to a new home this year, we kept the tradition of the students and faculty being led in by The Pin Stripe Brass Band, who also lead them out in the traditional second line. Attendees and graduates enjoyed a reception outside the theater on the mezzanine overlooking the beautiful grounds of Armstrong Park.
Enjoy a few moments from the festivities, and view more photos on our Facebook page!
