Why did you choose to attend Tulane SPHTM?
My reason for choosing Tulane SPHTM for Epidemiology was majorly because the research opportunities, when compared to the other Universities where exceptionally high and aligned with my interests. Apart from that I heard staff Tulane University is really supportive which I can confirm to be true now that I'm here.
What's your dream job?
Once I graduate I definitely would like to join a pharmaceutical company and take up a role of Data Scientist in the company.
What advice would you give someone thinking about getting a degree in public health?
I would advise someone thinking about getting a degree in public health that taking up this field would open up so many opportunities for them but they should work hard to stand out of the crowd and should have clear idea what they really are interested in as I mentioned there are so many opportunities so they might get confused about what to choose.
Any hobbies, interests, etc. outside of public health?
Driving and traveling tops my list of hobbies. I like meeting and talking with new people. Apart from that I diligently follow cricket and I also like watching movies.
What is the best thing about being a student at SPHTM thus far?
The best thing about being a student at SPHTM thus far is that you get best of both worlds: you'll live in the city where you'll find the best food and jazz music, as well as you getting to study in a well recognized university.
