Why did you choose to attend Tulane SPHTM?

The MHA program at Tulane SPHTM is extremely unique compared to other schools. It offers once-in-a-lifetime opportunities that only Tulane can give to students, like partnered residencies during the program. Another reason why I chose to attend Tulane SPHTM is because I was born and raised in New Orleans and would like to start my career off by helping the city I grew up in.

Why are you interested in volunteering as an SPHTM Student Ambassador?

While growing up in New Orleans, I always met people who were intimidated by Tulane and did not believe they were capable of attending the university. I want to let potential students know that Tulane is very diverse, and I too was in their shoes at one point

What's your dream job?

My dream job is to become a clinical director, pharmaceutical consultant, or hospital administrator.

What advice would you give someone thinking about getting a degree in public health?

Public health is a very diverse field with various opportunities to learn. Don’t be afraid to learn the options within public health to find a specialization that fits your interests and career goals

Any hobbies, interests, etc. outside of public health?

Some of my hobbies are window shopping, baking, singing, and going to the gym. As for interests, I am interested in anything that has to do with music (ex: vocal training) and weightlifting (ex. more exercises to stay in the gym longer).

What is the best thing about being a student at SPHTM thus far?

The best thing about being a student at SPHTM thus far is the amount of networking and events the school has. There is always an event that allows students to meet new people and expand their social connections.
