Why did you choose to attend Tulane SPHTM?

I chose Tulane SPHTM because it is one of the leading institutions in the field of public health and tropical medicine, and because of the rich diversity in the graduate school programs.

Why are you interested in volunteering as an SPHTM Student Ambassador?

I want to ease the burden imposed by lack of adequate information for international students and help them make the right decisions throughout their application process.

What's your dream job?

I would love to be involved in policy research and advising to help evidence-based decision-making in the field, ensuring access to quality healthcare services for underserved populations.

What advice would you give someone thinking about getting a degree in public health?

Do a good amount of research on the various programs available under public health and find those that you are most passionate about. There is a place for everyone, from any background, to engage in the various ways available to improve the field and the overall health and wellness of our communities.

Any hobbies, interests, etc. outside of public health?

Reading, hiking, trying new things

What is the best thing about being a student at SPHTM thus far?

I love my program and the way it is being delivered. There are plenty of opportunities to engage with professionals already working in the field of public health. The diverse student population makes students experience different cultures from all over the world.
