Thank You for Joining Us at Admitted Student Visit Day!

On April 10, we welcomed admitted students from across the country to the Celia Scott Weatherhead School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine for our Admitted Student Visit Day. It was a wonderful afternoon of connection, conversation, and community.

Students had the chance to meet faculty, current students, and fellow admits - exploring what life at WSPH truly looks like. From department tours to informal chats with program directors, the day was a reminder of what makes our school special: the people.

A highlight of the afternoon was the Delta Omega Poster Competition, where current students showcased their public health research - giving admitted students a real glimpse into the academic work happening across our programs.

The day wrapped up with a celebration on the patio, where students, faculty, and staff gathered to enjoy the New Orleans sunshine and get to know each other in a more relaxed setting. It was the perfect ending to a memorable day.
