Why did you choose to attend Tulane SPHTM?

I chose to give myself the opportunities I see Tulane graduates have from coming to this program.

Why are you interested in volunteering as an SPHTM Student Ambassador?

I am interested because I want to pass on my experiences and the opportunities I have been given to new students coming into the program so they can be successful as well!

What's your dream job?

My dream job is being a physician.

What advice would you give someone thinking about getting a degree in public health?

I love public health! There are so many routes you can go with public health! If you are interested in public health, I would highly consider it because I truly believe this is the best time to do it especially after going through the pandemic with your first hand experience. Public Health can open the doors to a lot of great opportunities after graduation.

Any hobbies, interests, etc. outside of public health?

I love playing soccer. Soccer has been a major part of my life. If you're a soccer fan, I will be watching the World Cup happening in few months. I am a big fanatic in watching sports. I will be glued to the TV in the weekends if you know you know. I love traveling as well and I am always traveling from time to time! I have been to many different places in the US and I want to continue this and extend it internationally. I always love exploring new places and I am still finding my way around the city here in New Orleans so if you have any recommendations for places to go I would love to know!

What is the best thing about being a student at SPHTM thus far?

The best thing about being a student at Tulane SPHTM is the connections I have been able to built here. Having connections not only with my peers but also with faculty, advisors and others have contributed to my growth in my program. These connections you build here are for a lifetime and help with your career path.
