Hannah's research interests focus on health equity and access among vulnerable and marginalized populations in Paraguay, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Latinos in the United States. She is primarily interesed in the health-related needs of older adults and the societies in which they are aging. She served as a 2017-2018 Fulbright U.S. Student Researcher in Paraguay while conducting fieldwork for her doctoral dissertation on the health of older adults in the country. Prior to earning her Master of Public Health from Tulane University in 2015, she served as a Rural Health and Sanitation Extension Volunteer with Peace Corps in Paraguay, extending her work with the organization until 2012 as a Volunteer Coordinator and Technical Trainer.
