*Campus Health and Reily Recreation Center Fees are not charged to online students; however, if an online student lives in the vicinity and wishes to use these services they can sign up for them and be billed accordingly.
Tulane charges tuition on a per-credit structure and there is no difference between in-state and out-of-state tuition. You can take coursework at whatever pace you like, without any financial drawback.

- At least 3 years of professional experience in public health, environmental or occupational health and safety, disaster management, or related field.
- Academic achievement – typically a GPA above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Consideration will be given to mid-career students who have shown professional achievement.
- Industrial Hygiene MSPH only:
- Bachelor's degree with 120 semester hours that include 60 or more credits in math, engineering, science, and technology with at least 15 of those at an upper (junior, senior, or graduate) level
- Non-English speakers: Demonstration of proficiency in English to be able to study and communicate in English. TOEFL, IELTS, or other recognized test may be used. In general scores of 89 or higher on TOEFL are desired. Language testing will be waived if student has received an undergraduate degree from an accredited U.S. institution.

Financial Aid
Tulane SPHTM offers its students a top tier graduate education, provides technical and help desk support, and teaching by leading professionals in environmental and occupational health and safety and disaster management at a reasonable tuition.
Degree seeking students enrolled in the online environmental health programs are eligible for Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans as long as they are enrolled in at least 5 credit hours and/or a practicum per semester. Students in this program are eligible for funds to pay for their tuition, fees and books. If you have any questions, please contact your assigned financial aid counselor. Certificate programs are considered non-degree programs and are not eligible for financial aid.
Many companies have tuition reimbursement benefits. Over half of our students receive some support from their employers. Check with your employer to see if tuition help is available to you.
Graduate Certificate programs are 15 credits of master’s course work that provide focused study in our degree programs areas.

Because the graduate certificates are non-degree programs, they are not eligible for federal financial aid.
