Graduate Certificate Programs Admissions & Application

 

Graduate Certificate programs are 15 credits of master’s coursework that provide focused study in our degree program areas. 

Admission requirements:

  • A baccalaureate degree with a GPA of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale.    The industrial hygiene graduate certificate requires that the bachelor’s degree include a minimum of 60 semester hours of math, engineering, science, and technology.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in public health, environmental or occupational health and safety, disaster management, or related field.
  • Non-English speakers: Demonstration of proficiency in English to be able to study and communicate in English. TOEFL, IELTS, or other recognized tests may be used. In general scores of 89 or higher on TOEFL are desired.

Students interested in the Graduate Certificate programs can apply and submit all materials using the online application form, as follows.

In addition to the application form, the requirements for application consist of:

  • Resume 
  • Official Transcripts
  • $75 application fee

Since the Graduate Certificates are non-degree programs, they are not eligible for federal financial aid.
