Professor Peter Hotez, M.D., Ph.D., Dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize and internationally famous COVID vaccine scientist will come to Tidewater to speak on Aug. 12.

Dr. Hotez is an internationally known vaccine scientist who has partnered with a number of Tulane faculty in the past and (along with Dr. Maria Elena Bottazi) is a Nobel Peace Prize nominee for developing a safe, streamlined, and affordable COVID-19 vaccine that can be easily accessed by countries around the world.
