Parasitology & Tropical Medicine Faculty
Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine

The Department of Tropical Medicine is seeking to fill several tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant and associate professor level in malaria biology, malaria immunology, arbovirology, parasitology and other vector-borne disease research. Candidates with exceptional record of achievement may also be considered for the position of full professor. Candidates with well-developed research program on host-parasite interactions and transmission by insect vectors and applying cellular, biochemical, molecular, immunological and field approaches are encouraged to apply. Excellent opportunities are available for collaborative research including BSL3 and ACL3 labs, interactions with the Tulane National Primate Research Center and overseas research sites. The successful candidates will be expected to establish and maintain an extramurally funded research program and participate in graduate student teaching. Required qualifications include a PhD, MD or MD-PhD and demonstrated research accomplishments. Salary and startup package will be competitive and commensurate with professional education and experience.
