Clinical (non-tenure-track) position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level
The Department of Global Health Systems and Development at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine is recruiting to fill one non-tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate level. The position also includes administrative responsibility over the administrative residency experiences of the Master of Health Administration program. The selection committee will give preference to applicants with an earned doctoral degree in the area of health management and policy or a related field. The department values strong teaching experience and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
The preferred candidate will teach in the Department’s masters-level health administration programs and should have an academic interest in one of the following areas: health care management and leadership, quality improvement, accounting, communications, strategy, and market analysis. The candidate will also be expected to mentor and advise students, participate on doctoral committees, and serve on other School committees. Applicants will be evaluated on their achievement to date and potential in the areas of teaching, publication, and research. Starting salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The Department of Global Health Systems and Development is comprised of approximately 30 full-time faculty members from a range of disciplines (health systems management, health policy, economics, finance, law, organizational theory, demography, epidemiology, sociology, and tropical medicine).
