Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine has announced that Baron Peter Piot will provide the keynote presentation at a symposium next year to celebrate the school's 100th anniversary.  Dr. Piot is the director of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, where he is also a professor of global health.

The Tulane SPHTM Centennial will take place November 9-11, 2012, and will include seminars, networking opportunities, and awards, culminating with a gala dinner. 

The Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine will celebrate its 100th anniversary from November 9-11, 2012. The announcement was made at the 137th American Public Health Association's Annual Meeting and Exposition.
