The Center for Applied Environmental Public Health is a multidisciplinary center focusing on occupational and environmental public health. CAEPH directs and coordinates major applied research projects and professional education programs offered via state-of-the-art distance learning technologies. The multidisciplinary team includes expertise in toxicology, risk assessment, epidemiology and surveillance, behavioral science, data analysis and information systems, evaluation, communication, and management. Executive degrees offered by Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine provide educational opportunities to professionals who cannot attend traditional on-campus programs. This can be accomplished through concentrated weekend or 7-day sessions with independent work, on-location classrooms with a traveling instructor, or technology-mediated distance learning.
