The Career Services Center offers services to support students' advancement through the areas of career development and placement. These include:

CAREER COUNSELING - individual counseling for career and placement needs. Call or email kball@tulane.edu to schedule an appointment.
CAREER RESOURCES LIBRARY - a variety of print literature on public health careers, placement directories, employer information, job search skills, internships, academic programs, workshops, conferences, fellowships and grants. Handouts available on career/job search topics.
RESUME CRITIQUE SERVICE - email your resume and cover letter for review to kball@tulane.edu.
WORKSHOPS AND SPEAKERS - workshops designed to develop skills in resume writing, interviewing, job searching, and attendance at job fairs. Alumni speakers and employer information sessions concerning public health careers are offered. Handouts on all topics available in the career resources library. CAREER FAIRS - In collaboration with area schools, employers from all career fields are invited to talk to students at two annual events: 1) Fall semester - Tulane/Loyola Career Fair 2) Spring semester - Mardi Gras Career Fair. ALUMNI CAREER NETWORK - the Tulane University Online Community database that you can explore to identify and connect with alumni in your professional field or geographic location. If you are willing to participate in this network and offer information about your career or city, please register online. Note that your email will not be displayed publicly but may be utilized by searchers "blindly". You can choose to respond or not to inquiries. Thank you for your willingness to participate since networking is a vital part of developing a career today.
JOB LISTINGS - current listings of available jobs, internships and fellowships, both national and international, are maintained in the library as well as sent out by email on a job listserve for the Tulane community. To subscribe to the job listserve, please request information at kball@tulane.edu.
PUBLICHEALTHJOBS.NET - website created and maintained in collaboration with schools in the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH). Provides central site for employers to post jobs, internships and fellowships, viewed chronologically, by location, by industry or by job type. Searchers may register to keep track of their searches as well as receive listings of interest via email.
PUBLIC HEALTH CAREER RESOURCES ON THE INTERNET - extensive list of Internet sites for jobs, internships, fellowships and career information related to public health.
UPTOWN CAREER CENTER SERVICES - all Tulane students are allowed to utilize the career services on the Uptown campus in the Collins C. Diboll Complex. These include premium online services which require registration with the Center.
