Workshop Objectives:

  1. Promote scholarly communication among TU faculty/student/researchers with health and social science interests in low and middle income countries.
  2. Participants  become HINARI trainers and advocates

Workshop content:

Part 1: About HINARI

  • The information landscape in HINARI countries (presented by a country representative)

Part 2: HINARI short course Lessons 2-6

  • Developing a search strategy in advance of using the Internet
  • HINARI PubMed
  • Using MyNCBI

Course format: In person with exercises(optional), online assessments and handouts

Workshop takes place in Howard-Tilton, Room 309
