The school is currently in the design phase (Stage 1) in establishing the Foundational Curriculum set forth by CEPH in 2016. SPHTM must submit a plan for coming into compliance with the criteria by January 9, 2018, and then a report demonstrating that compliance by January 9, 2019. The 2016 criteria are a major revision of the accreditation criteria. Among the many changes, the most significant is the replacement of the disciplinary core courses with cross-cutting, interdisciplinary foundational curriculum. The school’s Task Force for Foundational Curriculum Design has made significant progress towards designing a framework that will make the school compliant. This Town Hall meeting will seek input from faculty and staff.
